# Blog name, look and introduction

> Set your blog's name and tagline, choose its look, and write the introduction on its front page.

## Name and tagline

Readers see these at the top of your blog. Open **Blog** and press **Set name and look**. Fill in **Blog name** and, if you like, **Tagline**. Press **Next** to choose a look.

## Look

Open **Blog** and choose **Look**.

- At the top is your blog as readers see it now, shown with your own posts. Switch between desktop and phone.
- **Templates**: Paper, Magazine, Minimal, and any templates you saved. Tap one to see it large, then press **Use this template**.
- **Customize**: accent color, font, width and other common settings. For anything more, ask your AI.

Every template and customization starts as a draft, and **Unpublished changes** appears at the top. Press **Preview** to check it, **Publish** to show it to readers, or **Discard** to drop it.

> **Good to know:** Changing the look never touches your posts. They live in the blog's **Content** tab.

## Introduction

The introduction is a short text on your blog's front page, under its name. Write it in the blog's **Settings**. Leave an empty line to start a new paragraph. It saves as you type and can be up to 2,000 characters.
