Categories

Open Blog and choose Categories.

• New category: type a name and press Add.
• The ··· menu next to each category lets you Rename, Add subcategory, Move to top level, Move into another category or Delete it.
• Category bar: the categories across the top of your blog. Drag them to set the order, from left to right.

#Deleting a category

If a category still has posts, Ownsite asks where they should go: another category, or No category. Posts are never deleted.

#When a category shows on your blog

A category appears on your blog only when it has at least one published post. A category with only drafts or private posts is hidden. When you publish its first post, it appears at the end of the category bar.

To put a post in a category, choose it under Category while you write the post.
