Interactive posts
Give a post an Interactive version: the same words with headings, folds and small charts added, so it is easier to read.
Every post can have two versions. The Text is what you wrote. The Interactive version is the same Text with a little structure added around it, so a long post is easier to read: section headings, folded details a reader can open, a highlighted key paragraph, a timeline, a small comparison table, photo galleries.
Readers see the Interactive version by default and can switch to the Text at the top of the post. Feeds (RSS) and search results always use the Text.
Your words never change. The AI only adds parts around your paragraphs, and every word it adds must come from your Text: it cannot add a number, a date or a link you did not write.
#Make one
Open a saved post
Open Blog, choose Content, and open the post. It needs at least four paragraphs.
Press Make interactive version
The line under the editor says Make interactive version. It takes about half a minute.
Look at it
Switch to Interactive above the editor to see the post as readers will.
If the AI thinks a post does not need one (a poem, a short note), it says why and saves nothing.
#Change it
- Tap an added part in the Interactive view to change its words or remove it.
- Tell the AI what to change in the box below it, for example "fewer tables".
- The ··· menu has Make again and Delete interactive version.
#When you change the Text
The Interactive version follows the Text. When you publish a change, Ownsite first tries to keep it as it is: if only paragraphs it did not touch changed, it stays, at no cost. Otherwise it is made again by itself after you publish, and your own changes to its parts are kept. Until then readers see the Text, never an old version.
Saving a draft never runs the AI. To stop the automatic update for a post, press Don't next to "will update after you publish", or use the ··· menu.
#Cost and history
Each time the AI makes one costs a few cents and counts in your monthly AI budget. Every change to the Interactive version is kept in the post's History, together with the Text it was made for, so restoring an older version brings back its Interactive version too.
#For AI tools
A connected AI can read the Interactive version (get_interactive), ask Ownsite's AI to make it (make_interactive), or save its own plan (set_interactive) at no Ownsite cost. Its plan passes the same checks. See MCP server.
